This is just a quick update about the WiiM Mini.
I will have a more thorough review coming, but I had to mention that the WiiM Mini now has bit rate switching on the fly up to 24/192. It lets you choose a max output resolution of 48, 96, or 194 so that it will be compatible with most DACs. I have tested it via UPNP using the Audirvana app using both my native files and the Qobuz plug in and it works as advertised.
I don't see how to use Qobuz or Amazon HD in the Wiim app, but I have an email into their customer service.
This a big update for those using UPNP with Hi Res. I still have to see how useful it is outside of that, though. Stay tuned.
