If you visit my blog very often, you may know that I recently added a Toshiba laptop ( convertible) to the stable. The thing I was really interested I was being able to take the laptop on vacations rather than taking my trusty 2011 MacBook Pro.
However, once I got Photoshop CC installed, I went to an old email to get a key for Nik Software that I purchased a while back and found that I already used up my licenses. As a result, I was going to continue taking along the MacBook Pro since I didn't want to buy another copy of Nik.
Fortunately, I have been reading a lot of tech blogs this week and ran across an iMore article that said the Nik software is now free. I am ecstatic! The timing couldn't be better because Photoshop just isn't the same without the Nik plug-ins. If you haven't used Nik, I highly recommend it. The link to get a copy is below:
