The iOttie is for those that have very little table top space to charge their phone and their watch. I have a more traditional stand that I use in the bedroom that has a base with a lightning connector and an arm that you lay the watch on to charge it. The iOtti takes up a lot less space because it has such a small footprint. In my favorite sitting spot on the couch, I have a small round side table that I use for remotes and drinks, which leaves very little space to dock my phone. I was using a small bean bag just to lay my phone on, but it has been knocked off more than once.

Impressions
The first thing you notice about the iOttie stand is that it has some heft to it. This makes it much harder just to knock it off the table with another object (like a remote). The stand comes with an iPhone lightning charger, but you need to supply your own Apple Watch charger. I bought an extra watch charger since I often like to charge up the watch in the living room if I am going to monitor my sleep with the watch over night.

Large iPhones supported?
I have an iPhone 7 Plus with a thin case on it (similar to the Apple case) and it fits in the stand without an issue. Since the base of the stand has some weight, it feels very solid even with my huge phone on top of it.
The watch stand is a little tricky compared to the more conventional stands that have a separate arm for the watch. By stacking them, you have to put the watch on first if you are wearing a stainless steel type of band that doesn't open all the way when you take it off. Of course, most bands can just open and wrap around the stand when the iPhone is in place.
Speaking of stainless steel bands, they can be heavy compared to the rubber and cloth bands out there. This makes it hard for the stand to hold them at this angle. No worries! iOtti includes an adapter that slides onto the bottom of the stand that can help the magnet handle the weight. I have a stainless band and the adapter held it in place without any issues. The only issue you might run into is hiding the two cables, but with my placement of the stand, I can run them off the back of the table to hide them.
I should mention that the stand is easy to get setup, but they provide instructions if you have issues. All in all, I am very happy with this stand's small footprint and its build quality.
